I discovered this chipmunk resting under the apple tree. I was surprised he rested so peacefully under the apple tree that kept dropping apples.

It seemed a bit risky given the rate of thuds!

What ‘risk’ can you live with or even rest with calmly?

Would you choose to sit ‘safely’ in the hot sun, or rest in the cool shade of the tree, knowing that all is well, and that there is no sense worrying about the apple falling or hitting you until and if it happens and knowing you’ll deal with it if and when it should bonk you!?

And here he stayed cool as a cucumber, barely batting an eye, even as I approached.
